#15: Top 5 best looking things to eat in Dublin this week

Things to eat in and around Dublin from August 16th-22nd 2021, everything from cake tacos to crab-stuffed courgette flowers.

We have collected some of the most delectable foods being sold in Dublin right now, and compiled them into a big ol’ list. Here are five things in Dublin this week that we like the look of:

5.

Laine, my love’s Cake Tacos

Just when we thought we had reached peek-taco saturation, Laine, my Love pull through with a late entry. The team tasked their head chef and baker Marita Chillingworth with creating cake tacos, and create them she did. Loading up a sable biscuit shell with raspberry and strawberry buttercream, adding chunks of light fluffy cake and fresh strawberries, the cake taco was born. You can find Laine, my Love on Dublin 1’s 38 Talbot Street, follow them on Instagram for more information.

Juniors’s Stuffed Courgette Flowers

No stranger to using seasonal ingredients on their specials board, the team at Juniors have created a pretty unique dish out of one of the Summer’s most fleeting flowers. Stuffing the courgette flower with crab, the team have battered it tempura-style and served it with a creamy dip. You can find Juniors at Dublin 4’s 2 Bath Avenue, for more information visit their Instagram account.

All Hail’s Jerk Chicken Box

All good things must come to end, the same way that All Hail’s popup is wrapping up at the end of August. Beginning at the start of Summer in Pablo Picante’s spot on Dawson Street, the popup has been slinging a one-box wonder- filled with jerk chicken box, made up of a drumstick and a thigh that have been flaming away for 24 hours, a piece of corn on the cob that’s been rolled in parmesan, subtly coconutty rice n’ beans, rainbow slaw and a sweet but potent mango hot sauce. Catch All Hail while you can, for more information see our CHAR 1-minute review on it below:
