Brad Pitt has officially landed on Irish shores to film his latest blockbuster and we’re making it our civic duty to inform the people of Ireland where we think you might be likely to run into the Hollywood Heartthrob.
The South county Dublin meets North County Wicklow district is quickly becoming a movie star hub thanks to the Irish film tax incentive. We’ve had big wigs from Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Foxx, to Matt Damon, temporarily set up digs in this here little oasis.
Our current megastar is Brad Pitt who is staying the salubrious neighbourhood of Dalkey while filming his latest film. Will he frequent the local SuperValu sporting the infamous bag à la Matt Damon? Perhaps you might bump into him at the Forty Foot. Here’s our insider info on where we think you might actually run into the man himself:

Casual enough to get a table at short notice, with some of the best grub in the area, Little Forest in Blackrock serves up insanely good pizza, and hunreal fresh pasta dishes. Many a film producer has been spotted here, so it’s quite likely that BP might make an appearance.
Behind your oversized newspaper, false glasses, and wonky stick-on moustache, be sure to order their taleggio croquettes with hot honey, along with whatever pizza tickles your fancy. Pizza whisperer Reggie White was behind the launch of these pies, so you already know they are going to be insane.

Pakistani massives Daata are no strangers to hosting top talent, including megachef Gordon Ramsay who dined in their Bray restaurant back in 2024. Daata are expanding at some rate, and have recently opened up their first Dublin city spot on George’s Street, so thank Brad Pitt for the nudge to visit their original outpost.
To dine like a celebrity, be sure to order the Gordon Special, aka the Famous Afghani Chicken as well as Saleem’s Butter Chicken. If it’s good enough for Gordo, it’s good enough for Pitty. Don’t skip the cocktails either, (we love the Silk Route) you’re gonna need the Dutch courage when you meet the man himself.

Another Blackrock hero to hit the list, Liath is not only one of the best restaurants in Dublin, but in the country. Their menu changes seasonally and has been described as a full on religious experience. Every course they put out is a show stopper – with the seasonal cone shaped snacks being a proper highlight.
Sure you might have to take a small loan out to dine here, but trust us, it’s worth it. Their tasting menu is currently €190 a head with a further €120 for the classic wine pairing. It’s not often we have megastars among us, so use this as a double whammy to try this incredible two-star spot – ultimate bonus points if you’re at the table next to him. If Brad Pitt knows what’s good for him, he’ll be there.
Listen, film sets are high pressure environments, and after a long day on set, you’re going to be needing a pint or two post filming, and what better place to guzzle down a pint of Vitamin G (the official name of Guinness in Dalkey) than in Bono’s local. No doubt these bois will rendezvous at some point, and it could very well be here.
We recommend starting the day with a sea dip, sauna, repeat, at the Hot Box Sauna at Killiney Beach to really work up a pub reward. Chow down on some chowder followed by Finnegan’s fresh Dublin Bay scampi and chips – the perfect fuel while you put in the time to wait for the Pittmeister to arrive.

This Stepaside spot is the perfect little hideaway at the base of the Dublin mountains to avoid the papz. Colm Maguire and Simon Williams’s restaurant Woodruff change their menu weekly with a strong focus on provenance, seasonality and sustainability.
Their Higgins dry aged 24oz côte de boeuf for two is a knock out and on Sundays they offer a two or three course Sunday roast from 15.00 to 19.00, with two courses for €35 and three for €42. If Brad’s team knows what’s good for him on a Sunday, they’ll be sending him here.
This Michelin-Guided joint in Glasthule is a celeb magnet, with bigwig regulars like Pat Kenny, Miriam O’Callaghan, and Chris De Burgh. It’s been said that even Ed Sheeran has dined here so there’s no doubt that Brad Pitt will feel right at home in this Indian South Dublin staple.
Their peshwari naan is a must and their thali feasts are the perfect way to sample lots of their menu in one go with five mini portions of their mains in one platter. Even if you don’t spot the Hollywood Hunk here, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.

Seeing as he’s filming a mere ten minute drive away in the nearby Lough Tay, there’s no doubt the crew might make a Pitt stop (geddit) to this boujie cafe at some point or another. They bake their fresh bread and pastries in house daily, and their focaccia sambos with a side of homemade soup are chef’s kiss.
Hunker down and wait for the man himself in style while sipping on an oat latté and indulging in one of their many delicious sweet treats. It’s bound to rain at some point while they film, and the Roundwood Stores are the perfect nearby spot for Mr. Pitt to dry off and heat up.
Seeing as Brad Pitt was only just spotted here over the weekend, the chances are, if he enjoyed it, that he may very well revisit DeVille’s during his time here as a Dalkey resident.
Kim and David O’Driscoll’s swanky neighbourhood bistro serves your Irish classics like calamari, buffalo wings, steak frites, chargrilled prime Irish steaks, and Wicklow lamb. Their impressive wine list has a big wine by the glass section, and their cocktails look surprisingly fire too. Bring yer Brad Pitt obsessed mammy here for a fun evening of spot the celeb.
