Bushmills & Grá Chocolates to host Masterclass at Eatyard

Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Grá Chocolates are dropping a collab in the form of the hottest of hot chocolate for the Black Bush Stories campaign.

The collab features a limited edition Grá Chocolates x Bushmills Black Bush hot chocolate, specially crafted by Gráinne Mullins. Gráinne is a master of all things chocolate so as the season turns colder you know this is going to be a seasonal bucket list drink. The hot chocolate actually comes in four variables. There’s non-alcoholic, spiked, and festive fruity spiked. So you can collect ’em all if you’re a hot chocolate devotee.

Also, Ireland literally invented hot chocolate (Aztecs aside) so it makes sense that we’d perfect it.

These masterclasses will kick off on Sunday, October 22, at Eatyard, with sessions available at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Tickets are priced at €20 and can be purchased now via the Bushmills Ireland Instagram page @BushmillsIRL.

Tickets get you the first chance to taste the new limited-edition drink. Plus guests will also be treated to a cocktail tutorial, learning to create two Grá Chocolates-inspired Bushmills Black Bush cocktails. They’ll also take home a fabulous goodie bag. No confirmation of what exactly is in it but I’d say safe money is on whiskey and chocolates. Who doesn’t love a goodie bag?

There’s also a takeover popping up. Kicking off on October 19 for four weeks Bushmills will be running at Eatyard. This will run through Sunday, November 12. The pop-up will be choc-full of bespoke Black Bush cocktails, and premium single malts that you can’t get your hands on usually.

For context, Black Bush Stories is an annual event that celebrates remarkable individuals in Ireland who have redefined traditional crafts with innovation. Gráinne Mullins, the talent behind Grá Chocolates, has gained recognition for her exquisite artisan confections and was named in Forbes European 30 under 30.
