January is a time when we all tend to step back, clear the slate and try to be a bit more mindful with our choices.
Whether it is trying to go for healthier options, trying out veganism or just getting a bit more fibre into your diet, we all have certain things we are focusing on for 2026. That does not mean we should miss out on tasty and convenient dishes delivered straight to our door, oh no no. A takeaway should never be something you feel guilty about, and these Just Eat options are things you can feel downright good about.
When your body is screaming for nutrients but your stomach and soul are screaming for satisfaction, then you need a salad from Urban Health. Now do not get it twisted, Urban Health’s roster of dishes has something to satisfy every craving, from sweet symphonies of loaded pancakes and overnight oats to delicious breakfast wraps. But if you really need to feel like a superhuman health god, then get yourself a superfood salad. All the goodness of Mother Earth tossed together and dressed with a bright and punchy chimichurri sauce. And get one (or a few) bottles of their famous fresh juices to reinforce the aul immune system.
If you want something refreshing and packed full of antioxidants, then an acai bowl is a great shout. Bean Box Coffee has a selection of bowls to bring you back to life when your body feels utterly devoid of nutrients. The Snickers is a go to and will satisfy your sweet tooth with the rich and fruity acai base topped with luscious peanut butter, banana and Nutella, finished with choc chips. Get that dopamine hit but make it nutritious.
Nothing quite gets you back in alignment like a well made smoothie. Ten10 has a trio of smoothies to choose from that are as nutritious as they are delicious. The Power is a powerful blend of lemongrass, kale, banana, mango and apple juice. It is a beautiful green colour that just screams “your body needs this”. They also have a great selection of bowls and you can even get a tub of scoopable so you can make your own at home.
For a sensible brunch, Cafe 105 has a rake of options to choose from, like forest mushrooms on toast and shakshuka eggs. You can even get a juice from Raw Juices to pack in some extra vitamins. The team here really believe in centring fresh, local, nutrient rich, seasonal ingredients, so whatever you choose you know you are getting something truly wholesome and nourishing.
Oats. Oats. Oats. We love oats. They are little powerhouses health and keep you full throughout the day. Box’d not only serves oats, but they make them delicious. Their Biscoff protein oats feel more like a decadent dessert than a heart smart breakfast. If Biscoff is not your thing, they also have an overnight oats option where you can choose your own toppings like honey, berries and peanut butter. Or if you would like to forgo oats altogether, you can try one of their toasted sandwiches and soups.
