This week is hotter than a jalapeño doused in siracha with a side of gochujang. We’re diving headfirst into the best bits that Dublin has to offer this week.
Buckle up – it’s about to get delicious!

Volpe Nera’s Cep Dumplings Deal:
Barry Sun’s Cep dumplings at Volpe Nera are myth and legend and this spring, they’re a deal. Barry Sun’s cep dumplings with aged soya, fennel and herb – intensely flavourful and deeply comforting, and paired with a lovely wine from Darren D’Arcy, a perfect bouji little treat. All the trappings and trimmings with vino for €21 is definitely something we love to see.

Warehouse Supper Club’s Inaugural Menu:
Warehouse Supper Club is bringing you home classics, comfort foods, and perfect snacks for their inaugural menu. It’s like they raided your dream pantry and put it all together in one handy menu. The supper club is set to take place weekly on Saturdays, and we can’t wait to see what they do as the seasons change, but this week, we’re most excited about the Panko Oilives with Vermouth Lemon Mayo!

BAR 1661’s Takeover by Cocktail Legends:
Sean Muldoon and Jillian Vose from New York’s Dead Rabbit are hitting Dublin like a storm in a cocktail shaker. They will be showcasing drinks from their upcoming Hazel & Apple Bar in Charlestown, USA, featuring their new blended Irish Whiskey. Tickets are only a tenner and come with a world-class cocktail. Can you think of a better way to spend a Tuesday? This place is not ticketed, but you had better book your spot because it will be stuffed with heads; it’s not a drill!
04
Neighbourhood Wine’s Wine and Cheese Night:
Who doesn’t love wine and cheese? Neighbourhood Wine is teaming up with Mike’s Fancy Cheese for a 90-minute walkaround tasting. €55 per person for cheese and wine galore. Plus, this is a pour-it-yourself affair. Very sophisticated. No one is monitoring your pour, and you’re not stuck drinking wines you think are mid at best. What’s not to love about it?

i-Stil 38 Premium Irish Vodka’s World Drinks Awards Win:
It’s official i-Stil 38 is the Taylor Swift of spirits, because it is getting all the press right now for all the right reasons. Best Irish Vodka at The World Drinks Awards? Bow down. Shane Davey, Pippa O’Connor Ormond and the team are giving Vodka the mic, and she is slaying the house down. Personally, we love it in a cheeky martini, but you can check it out at all good bars this weekend or pick up a bottle from your local indie bottleshop.

Blasta Book’s FUNKY by Caitlin Ruth is here:
Pickle sl*ts unite – Caitlin Ruth’s FUNKY pickling book is here to spice up your life. Pickle powders, 10-minute pickles, and using watermelon rinds for salsas make pickle powders for dips, garnishes, even to rim a glass for a cocktail; and learn how to keep the crunch with tips on tannins and how to stabilise the fermentation process. If you’re even half as pickle powered as we are we know you’ll love this book, plus it’s only €15.

Row Wine’s Spicy Mars & Tacos Fiesta for St Brigid:
We love tacos, we love marks, and we love a little spice, so how could we not love this week’s Sunday soirée on Coppinger Row? Tacos, margaritas, and a fiesta hosted by Row Wine’s very own Bandida – it’s basically fireworks. This Brigid’s Day bank holiday sunday just got a whole lot spicier!
That’s it for this week’s wild ride of culinary chaos. Stay cunty, stay hungry, and keep riding.
