Lotts & Co. are Hosting a Christmas Customer Day

Words: Hannah Lemass

Lotts & Co. are renowned as purveyors of high-end gourmet delicacies and premium treats. They’re also simply the cutest boujee market-come-deli-come-coffee shop around.

To give a little something back to their customers this festive season, they’re hosting a blow-out celebration at their shops in Clontarf, Terenure, and Beggars Bush on Thursday, the 28th. In previous years, the event was held in the evening only, but this year they’re going all in and keeping the party rolling all day long.

The celebration will kick off at 9am and run throughout the day until 8pm, giving you plenty of time to saunter in and check it out. There will be tastings and demonstrations from their list of top-quality suppliers and producers. If you’ve been to Lotts & Co., you know they offer the best of the best, and this is your chance to sample some of their finest products without going out of pocket.

For the owners, brothers Barry and Paul McNerney, and their partner John Byrne, it all started in 2015 when they set up the first Lotts & Co. in Beggars Bush with the aim of creating a shopping experience that combined the charm of a local greengrocer with a modern selection of high-quality local and international produce.

On Thursday, 27 Lotts & Co. suppliers from the Bretzel Bakery to Cloud Picker Coffee will be handing out samples. They will take turns throughout the day, featuring meal-time-appropriate products during breakfast, lunch, and evening hours. Plus, the Lotts & Co. kitchen team will be offering samples from their Christmas catering menu too.

They’ll also be fully embracing the festive spirit because let’s face it, it’s time to submit to the cheer and get Christmassy. Their Christmas offerings will be on display, including hams, great gift options, and, to get into the spirit of giving, you can enjoy 10% off catering, gifts, wines, and more.

So, pop into your nearest Lotts & Co. and get a little flavour of the Christmas season.
