Body Tonic’s The Lighthouse is relaunching its coffee window tomorrow, Saturday, Aug 20. To celebrate they’re giving free coffee to the first twenty people who sign up here.

The day will also celebrate the change of their shop menu. Caoi De Barra will play an intimate set out of the hatch at 13:00 as part of her Scooter Tour of Ireland. The Bray singer Caoi de Barra released her debut solo EP last week named Thicket. Thicket is the first EP from the Bray singer-songwriter Caoimhe Barry. She is best known as one third of Wyvern Lingo.

In other news, The Big Dipper is back by popular demand for a short run and only in-house. Their signature double beef burger served with a cheese dipping sauce has been a coveted food experience.

Since it opLaoghaire’shouse has been a stalwart favourite of the Dun Laoghaire locals. Just far from the pier and obscure enough looking to hide in plain sight. This former old man pub is a crowning jewel in Dun Laoghaire’s crowwho’sere are pictures of Irish footballers, all the essential board games, a festive menu, and the music is a nostalgic mix of alternative bangers from the 90s and contemporary slappers, depending on who’s behind the bar.

Nice Burger has been a welcome addition to the Lighthouse with their very on brand take on the classic Irish pub grub. The spot has proved popular with locals and as a destination for Dubs across the cityscape. The resurgence of the big dipper will likely bring stans from all over to Dun Laoghaire this weekend.
