Cup North, the genius minds behind the caffeine extravaganzas in Manchester and Birmingham, announced today the birth of the first-ever Dublin Coffee Festival. Scheduled to hit The Complex from 1-3 March 2024 and you can bring your doggo with ya! Tickets hover around €18 and are on sale now.

Hold onto your mugs because the highlight of the festival is the Extracted Development coffee competition on March 2-3. It’s a coffee-lympics where skilled baristas and roasters from all over Ireland battle it out on stage where the audience aren’t just spectators; they’re the judge, jury and executioners! Taste the competition coffees, chat up the contenders, and vote for your favourite coffee rockstars. It’s a behind-the-bar scene that’s more interactive than a Tinder swiping session after a few glasses of Rosé.

Cup North is the rebel with a cause, on a mission to spread the gospel of speciality coffee in the UK and Ireland through events that are anything but boring. Founded in 2014 by Hannah Davies and Ricardo Gandara as a side hustle, Cup North has become the cool kid on the block. Projects include the Manchester Coffee Festival, Birmingham Coffee Festival, coffee competition Extracted Development, coffee podcast Brewing It Over, and the latest addition to the squad – the Dublin Coffee Festival.

The festival menu is a wild mix of entertainment, education, and coffee. Talks and panels from industry hotshots, a tasting room that’ll make your taste buds do the cha-cha through the coffee world, workshops to pick up some hipster coffee skills, and family activities that are actually fun. Did we mention there’s food, drinks, and other surprises? This festival isn’t just about coffee; it’s a celebration of the bean that brings people together faster than fiber optic broadband.

Dublin Coffee Festival proudly presents over 30 exhibitors from Ireland and the UK. These wizards of caffeine are bringing their unique coffee concoctions, artisanal treats, and coffee-related wizardry under one roof. From speciality coffee to mouthwatering treats, it’s a caffeinated wonderland waiting for you to explore.

The Dublin Coffee Festival is a guilt-free zone – no paper cups allowed. Bring your reusable cups and be a coffee-sipping eco-warrior. There will be water and cup rinsing stations for your convenience. They’ve also partnered with Farmers’ Voice Radio and a local charity, and 6% of all ticket sales are going towards their good deeds.

Snag your tickets here and join the caffeinated revolution. For more deets, swing by the official website at dublincoffeefest.com. It’s not just coffee; it’s a lifestyle.
