Our Top Picks for Eat Spain Drink Spain 2026

Spain is coming to Ireland during the month of September, and we are very much here for it. Eat Spain Drink Spain runs from the 11th – 27th September 2026, bringing two weeks of Spanish food, wine and general good craic to restaurants, wine bars and shops around the country.

Lined up are oodles of tastings, special offers and plenty of opportunities to eat and drink your way through Spain without having to endure airport security at Terminal One.

The festival is a celebration of Spanish food and drink in all its glorious forms. There’ll be workshops, tastings, competitions and lots of chances to stock up on Spanish goodies. Basically, if you’re partial to a glass of Albariño, and a plate of jamón, this one’s for you.

Neighbourhood Wines

Coming in hot at number six, are the wine tastings at Neighbourhood Wines. On both the 17th and 23rd of September, the lads are hosting a Spanish wine tasting, taking punters on a whistle-stop tour through some of the country’s best wine regions and, (almost as importantly), what to eat alongside them. While Albarino and Rioja might be the first names that spring to mind when we think Spanish wines, they are only the tip of the iceberg folks. And that iceberg is massive..

There’ll also be Spanish snacky bits to nibble on while you’re learning how to pair wine and food. Basically it’s an all round good time for anyone who likes wine – so, everyone.
