Winedown’s Valentine’s Day menu will be a 6-course tasting menu exclusively available on Saturday, 12 February.
The menu serves up the very best dishes from Winedown, featuring Asian inspired Beef Skewers with House Rayu, Slow Braised Pork Belly with Pickled Apple, Porcupine Prawns with Lemongrass and Chilli and Winedown’s signature cheesy Croquettes.
The unique tasting menu is paired with a carefully curated wine list. Winedown will be giving those opting for the tasting menu the opportunity to experience some spectacular wines rarely found served by the glass.
Winedown Dinner Box to-go will also be available on Fridays in February. Priced at 55 euro, The Classic Box and The Vegetarian Box each include six dishes. In addition, customers can opt into wine pairing for 75 euros.
The Classic Box comprises focaccia with cep butter, Guinness bread served with black olive tapenade, smoked fungi croquettes, grilled halloumi with romesco and grilled courgette in a sherry vinegar reduction, marinated bavette steak skewers, slow-braised pork belly, with a chocolate marquis for desert.
The Vegetarian Box features focaccia with cep butter, Guinness bread served with black olive tapenade, smoked fungi croquettes, grilled halloumi with romesco and grilled courgette Jerusalem artichoke heart aubergine and goats cheese stack with tomato and basil.
Winedown has become known for its incredible seasonal-inspired dishes, flavour combinations, and funky atmosphere. Their food philosophy is based on sourcing only the finest local ingredients to create a fresh take on classic dishes.
Winedown, Montague Street is open Tuesday to Saturday from 17:00 – 23:30, with last orders for food at 21.00. Bookings for indoor and outdoor dining can be made via OpenTable here.
