The friendly folk over in Kerrygold is doing the people of Ireland a soild on the run up to St. Patrick’s Day, by celebrating one of the country’s most sacred culinary traditions.
The humble crisp sambo. What’s not to love? Carb on carb, crispy goodness, that you can whip up in an instant with minimal ingredients.
To celebrate Paddy’s Day, Kerrygold is taking over The Storyteller pub on Grand Canal Street this Thursday, 12th March for an afternoon event dedicated entirely to the glorious crisp sandwich. Expect thick slices of soft white bread, generous spreads of Kerrygold butter, and lashings of cheese and onion crisps in between.

Off the back of the event, Kerrygold is taking the national snack global. Award-winning Irish actress and Stranger Things star Amybeth McNulty is flying the crispy flag, introducing the sambo to her international following in a new social media series.

The sangwiches are complimentary and will be served on a first come, first served basis from 12pm to 6pm – so if this is your thing (how could it not be?), don’t hang about.
