Happy days indeed as annual beer and food festival returns to Dublin 8 this month.

Hey there beer lovers, get ready to have your taste buds tickled and your bellies filled at the Rascals Brewing Company’s annual Happy Days Beer & Food Festival in Inchicore. Happening over the May Bank Holiday weekend, this festival brings together some of Dublin’s best brewers and food trucks under one roof, so you can eat, drink, and be merry all day long.

What’s in store, you ask? Expect funky tunes, a variety of food (including tacos, burgers, and pizzas), and of course, an impressive range of craft beers. Some of the breweries on offer are Bullhouse, Kinnegar, MacIvor’s Cider, Wicklow Wolf, Stillgarden Distillery, Sudden Death Brewing, and of course, Rascals themselves. These guys are known for their wild flavours, and their latest creation – the Strawberry Vanilla Shake IPA – is no exception.

Tickets cost €20 per person (excluding a booking fee), and will get you into the festival, a free brewery tour, and a souvenir reusable eco-cup pint. Food-wise, you can expect Rascals’ signature pizzas or try something from one of their guest vendors, like El Milagro’s authentic Mexican tacos or AA’s Caribbean cuisine.

Live DJ sets on both Saturday and Sunday will kick off Dublin’s summer of food festivals and events, with sets from the likes of Nialler9, Shelly Gray, and Ian Alvey. And if you can’t make it to the festival, don’t worry – Rascals HQ has plenty of other events happening throughout the year, from match screenings to Eurovision parties.
