Two cocktail heavyweights are joining forces this January in what we’re calling a serious win for the city.
One of the most legendary cocktail bars on the planet – Harry’s Bar in Paris – is teaming up with Bar 1661 at the Sackville Lounge this January, for a one-night-only takeover that feels borderline surreal.
Harry’s Bar was founded all the way back in 1911, and is responsible for the invention of some of the most iconic cocktails of our time, most notably the Bloody Mary, the French 75, and the SideCar.

And now, somehow, this almost mystical Parisian institution is packing up its shakers and heading to the Emerald Isle for its first ever Irish appearance.
On the 20th of January, Harry’s Bar Paris will take over BAR 1661’s sister spot – The Sackville Lounge, just off O’Connell Street. Expect a menu stacked with true OG classics, with both counterparts drawing on a shared respect for tradition.

And let’s be honest, no other bar in the country deserves this more than BAR 1661, who are dripping in awards. Consistently ranked among the best, they recently landed top 4 in the Spirited Awards 2025 for Best Cocktail Menu in the World, finally putting Irish bartending on the global map. This collab is truly legends recognising legends.

They are not taking bookings and are operating on a first come, first served basis, starting at 19:00. A rare chance to sip cocktail history right here in our very city. We’ll see you there.
