There’s now a brand new way to order gourmet burgers thanks to BuJo

“drive-thru meets click & collect”
BuJo created a pretty novel way to order gourmet burgers, by creating a drive-thru dedicated to serving them. They launched their click-and-collect burger branch at Junction 6 Castleknock, just off the M50, on June 17th. Selling its burgers in a “drive-thru meets click & collect” format enables customers to order online, and collect their food that’s been cooked fresh to order either in its drive-thru or by walking up.
BuJo has described the format as “pretty unique”, their new location has over 300 car park spaces and operates out of six repurposed shipping containers.
The Dublin 15 spot has the same menu as Bujo in Sandymount, but the team have said that culinary director Gráinne O’Keefe who heads up the new location “calls the shots on all collaborations and limited editions”.
The burger joint that has been operating out of Sandymount green for three years, has earned some serious acclaim in that time. One of the first to launch an at-home cooking kit, BuJo have continued to supply the households of Ireland with top-notch burgers throughout the lockdown.
The idea for Bujo came on May 26 2014 when the co-owners two little girls were born within minutes of each other “on the same day, on the same floor, in the same hospital” the team wrote on Instagram, “Their dads grew up together on the same street on Dublin and that night over (many)celebratory pints they promised they would create something that would make their daughters proud in the years ahead.”
“Bujo was the result of that night and is the reason why sustainability is more than important to us,” they added.
Bujo are taking orders directly from their website, with online orders open from 9am Thursday-Sunday with collections from 4pm-9pm.
