The Rock Bakery will Pop Up at Mae This Weekend

Rock Bakery is a micro patisserie that currently operates out of a pub in Skerries. The pop-up was announced by head chef Grainne O’Keefe on her Instagram.

The pop-up will kick off at 09:30 and run till 13:30 or till they sell out, which is very likely.

The Rock Bakery have a cult fanbase who queue up in their legions to taste the monthly changing menu in the snug style spot. It’s one of the best off-the-beaten-track spots in the greatest Dublin area and has a real “if you know, you know” aura.

Theoretically, they are open Thursday to Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00, but they always sell out before that, making it hard for city slickers to get the full scope of their wares.

Their November menu includes an Orange Passionfruit Choux, a Pear White Chocolate Danish, and classics such as an Apple Crumble and the OG Butter Croissant.

According to SoloCheck, The Rock Bakery Limited was set up on Tuesday, 23 February 2021, by Cian Carty Heffernan, and Despite being so far away, the spot was voted Dublin’s Best Bakery in September.

Be sure to get there early, as this once-off pop-up looks set to be popular.
