Sprezzatura and Winelab have snuck in a popup collab this weekend

Promising “small plates, salty whites and chilled reds”

No stranger to working together, Sprezzatura and Winelab have joined forces to create the popup Flatlands. The popup that began as a once-off last weekend has been extended into a second.

Operating out of Sprezzatura’s location in the centre of Rathmines, the popup has a range of small plates designed to be washed down with wine from Winelab.

The Spanish inspired menu has the likes of boquerones, duck terrine, olives, muhammara, tortilla de patatas, salt and chilli squid, schnitzel, and oysters, on the lineup.

These are paired with some of Winelab’s favourites, salty whites like the Matthiasson’s Linda Vista, Folk Machine’s Chenin Blanc, Scala’s Ciro Bianco and Alvarinho’s Quinta do Gradil. Alongside some chilled reds like El Mozo’s Cosmonauta Viaje en el Tempo, Gabriele Scaglione’s Langhe Rosso and Julienas’s La Soeur Cadette.

This popup comes ahead of the reopening of Sprezzatura’s Rathmines kitchen which kicks off on September 6. Speaking of the reopening the Sprezzatura team said, “disruptions due to covid kept us closed for longer than we wanted,” adding, “we’re going to be fully open going forward, 7 days a week, lunch and dinner service”

Flatlands will be opening on September 3 from 4-10pm September 4 from 12-10pm and September 5 from 12-8pm.

You can find Flatlands in Sprezzatura’s spot in Dublin 6’s 223 Lower Rathmines Road, walk-ins are welcome but if you want to book hit the link in their bio here.
