Soup and Soup 2 to show Late Late Toy Show

Soup in Dun Laoghaire and Soup 2 in Smithfield will air the Late Late Toy Show tonight.
If you want to catch all the inevitable memeable mishaps on tonight’s show but don’t want to sit in on a Friday night then it’s a solid option.
Soup and its sister restaurant Soup2 are both unpretentious and relaxed ramen bars. The restaurants are a joint venture from two friends Conor Hughes and Will Shannon. They are both aesthetically curated in the same style and have a relaxed feel to them.
The deep-fried kimchi is a fan favourite and should pair well with the sickly sweet off-tune notes of whichever Billy Barry kid is centre stage this year.
Their wine list is neat, varied, and clearly put together by someone who loves wine. They sling a good cocktail and their beers are seasonal.
Ryan Tubridy will host the Late Late Toy Show for the 13th year in a row tonight at 9:35 pm. It’s available to watch on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. This year’s show has been inspired by The Lion King and will feature Amanda Coogan, and Aisling Dragoi. Sarah Jane O’Regan will present The Late Late Toy Show live with Irish Sign Language.
The toy show is like the original gift guide for kids. Starting in 1975 as a half-hour slot at the end of The Late Late Show as a way to give parents ideas after the kiddies had gone to bed. From there it went on to become a cultural phenomenon, as well as a highlight of the year on Irish Twitter.
