Ripasso Announced Imminent Closure in Bray

Say ciao to your carb-filled dreams, because one of Bray’s finest Italian restaurants, Ripasso, is closing its doors at the end of May.

Ripasso, located on Albert Avenue, has been serving up some of the best Italian cuisine in the area since August 2019. From pasta plates to pizza, their menu had something for everyone. Prices kicked off at fourteen euros and capping out at twenty.

The owners announced the closure on their Instagram page. They said that the last service will be held on May 28, 2023. The post shared that the past four years have been both challenging and rewarding for the restaurant. They disclosed they couldn’t have done it without their loyal customers. While it’s a bummer that they’re closing up shop, they’re choosing to end things on a high note.

You still have some time to book a reservation before May 28. Ripasso will be missed by many, but their legacy will live on in the memories of their customers who enjoyed their delicious Italian cuisine.

Bray is home to a good-sized Italian restaurant community. It included the well-known Campo di Fiori, until it closed down in 2019 after eighteen years. Owners Marco Roccasalvo and Laura Chiavini returned to Sardinia. From there Ripasso, took up the mantle in Campo’s former location a few months later. Before opening Ripasso, Gabriele had worked for Roccasalvo and Chiavini and was the manager of Locks in the Portobello area.
