RALPH’S Has Teamed up With ViCE to Drop a Dublin Batch Just in Time for Christmas

Words: Hannah Lemass

Hold on to your Christmas crackers folks! RALPH’S is back, and it’s teaming up with ViCE Pizza & Wings Shop to bring us some liquid Christmas joy for the first time in three years.

RALPH’S and ViCE Pizza & Wings Shop have teamed up to bring Dublin its first drop of RALPH’S in three years. We’ve long been dreaming of the return of our favourite cream liqueur, and Christmas has come early with this stunning news.

There’s no Christmas without some beautiful Irish cream liqueur. There is simply nothing better than sipping on this silky, sweet nectar, whether it’s fireside on a winter’s evening or cheekily added to your morning coffee or cornflakes while you open your prezzies from Santy on the big day.

We are so lucky in Ireland that we happen to have the best of the best available to us. Irish cream liqueur is protected by a Geographical Indication, similar to Champagne. It’s a truly special drink that I know we all love. And we have to talk about one of the most delicious and certainly the, most aesthetically pleasing one around, RALPH’S.

RALPH’S is an Irish brand making original cocktails created by Dublin designer and artist Jordan Ralph, his flagship drink is The White Ralph but they also have The Hot Ralph. Both are silky smooth liquid decadence.

Allow me to properly introduce to you these special little babies:

The White Ralph
This is the OG RALPH. It’s a luxuriously smooth blend of malted almond milk, vodka, cream liqueur, and two secret ingredients that I couldn’t spill the beans about even if I wanted to because I have no idea what they are. But they do taste amazing—I know that much. It tastes just like a heavenly Japanese soft-serve ice cream had a baby with a malted milkshake at a 1950s diner just before a sock hop.

The Hot Ralph
This one has Christmas written all over it! They poetically describe the flavour as tasting like an Oreo and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange hooked up at an Osaka izakaya at 4am. It has that signature base of RALPH’S malted almond milk, but in this iteration, it’s mixed with generous measures of orange and cream liqueurs, miso, Oreo, and a secret ingredient that again is shrouded in mystery. It’s the ideal drink to sip hot or over ice on festive evenings by the fire.

These small-batch cocktails have a 10% ABV and come in 1-litre bottles, so there’s enough for eight drinks. Whether you decide to share or just save it for yourself is up to you. When you pick it up, make sure you keep it upright and refrigerated as soon as you get it home, and you’ll have a solid two weeks of shelf life to enjoy it.

The fresh Chrimbo batch is available for collection online from ViCE on Merrion Street on Monday, December 23rd. You can order your bottles of “The White Ralph” and “The Hot Ralph” from their super-limited run here.

Seriously, this is a super-duper limited run, so make sure you get your orders in ASAP so you’re not disappointed.
