On August 28 and 29, Ómós by the former Noma chef, will be taking over Note in Dublin.
Tickets for the event will include a tasting menu created around the late August harvest season. Late August in Ireland is what June is to France. Tomatoes, beans, sunflowers, fresh sweetcorn, wildflowers, herbs, seeds galore, and lots and lots of berries.
An additional wine pairing will also be available on the night curated by Brian of Brian’s Wines.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 12:00 this Saturday. Ómós have ten tickets reserved for paid subscribers to the Ómós Digest available now on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note have masterminded the art of the restaurant opening, capturing the attention of eaters and drinkers in Ireland and further afield.
Cúán is an Irish chef and author of the Ómós Digest, an exploratory newsletter surrounding food and culture. He is an alum of Geranium in Copenhagen, and the former head chef of Bastible in Dublin.
On his website, Cúán Greene said of the event, “I am really excited about this collaboration for a number of reasons. It will be the first time I’ll have cooked for the general public in…ages! It’s no secret that over the past couple of years I have been able to keep my bank balance in check through catering for high-end private dinners, and while they have allowed me to stay creative, there really is nothing like being in a restaurant, serving a myriad of guests who have come especially for the occasion.”
