New venue launched in Dublin 2: Bartley’s

Bartley’s at The Grafton is a new venue built on the site of the original Bartley Dunne’s pub.

The new space is a bar, restaurant, event space, coffee dock and terrace all in one. Bartley’s offers quintessential cocktails with casual lunch and dinner menus, served with ‘old-style hospitality.

Inspired by retro glamour and designed with a nod to the era’s nostalgia, this atmospheric venue embraces the personality of this iconic landmark that was Dublin’s first gay bar. It famously welcomed a diverse and eclectic mix of people until it closed in the 1990s.

CheF&B Manager John Sheridan said in a press release, “Even though Bartley’s is newly reopened, we have worked hard to retain some of the original atmospheres that made Bartley Dunnes a default destination in Dublin… Our team is at the heart of Bartley’s, and we prioritise engaging with our clientele with personal and engaging service.”
