New cheese popup launching in Blackrock

By Emily Mullen

“Keep an eye out for us!”

A new cheese popup will be launching in the Blackrock market. The Cheese Keeper is a farmhouse cheese stall that will be selling all things cheese, olive oil, and cheese accompaniments.

The team behind the Cheese Keepers are currently working towards their opening which is “TBC”, but reading between the lines it looks like it will be soon.

In the meantime, the team is currently piecing together their stock and has put out a call-out for cheese recommendations. Cheese from West Cork has been mooted, alongside the Northern Irish blue Young Buck, buffalo mascarpone, truffle gouda, and the old favourite Manchego.

The Cheese Keeper will be joining the ranks of Michelin plate 3 Leaves, Shaka Poké, Arctic Stone, Ciamei Cafe, and El Celler at Blackrock Market’s 30 stall capacity market.

“Stay tuned” with The Cheese Keeper through their Instagram account.
