New Bar Opens on Dorset Street

After months of anticipation, Juno has opened in the former home of The Red Parrot in Dublin 1

The new spot will open from Wednesday to Sunday from 16:00 and specialise in cocktails.

Their new menu features go-to’s such as the Espresso Martini and Aperol Spritz. Price-wise, they run on the lower end in this time of inflation. The most affordable is a tenner, and the more high-end is twelve to fifteen.

Juno also sells non-alcohol cocktails, one-litre sangria, margarita, and cranberry breeze pitchers.

The new spot pitches itself on Instagram as “a unique new bar, restaurant and events space coming soon to North Dublin City”.

No word yet on food style or the kind of events space but every new creative or cultural space in Dublin is more than welcome.

The Red Parrot was a popular oldman-style pub for generations. It had a tremendous big Guinness clock looking out over the Royal Canal. The place took its name from the bird taxidermy previously encased in the lounge, where it contained the famous Red Parrot itself.
