How To Get A Free Bagel On Pearse Street

Words: Tobi Ilori

Yoplait SKYR and Artybaker are giving out free bagels from 19 to 21 May. Your morning commute has officially been upgraded.

Free bagel is not a sentence we take lightly lads.

Especially when said bagel involves Artybaker, Yoplait SKYR, and a cream cheese topping called SKYR schmear. That is either inspired or completely unhinged. Fortunately, breakfast has room for both.

Either way, we are seated.

From Tuesday 19 May to Thursday 21 May, Yoplait SKYR and Artybaker are taking over 34 Pearse Street with a morning pop-up running from 8am to 12pm each day.

The bagels will be free, subject to availability. Which is a polite way of saying: if you want one, move like someone who has been told there is free bread involved.

What’s On Offer?

Artybaker has created a bagel using Yoplait SKYR.

The Yoplait SKYR is folded into the bagel itself and whipped through the cream cheese topping to create a rich SKYR schmear.

So yes, this is not just a pot of Yoplait SKYR standing beside a bagel for moral support. It is properly involved.

There will also be Yoplait SKYR pots available to customise with breakfast toppings, if you’re the kind of person who likes options before 9am.

Why Should You Go?

Because it is a free bagel duhh.

That should be enough, but fine, we’ll be the professionals we are and convince you.

Yoplait SKYR is naturally high in protein, 0% fat, thick and creamy, and made using one ingredient: milk. The pop-up is about showing how it can do more than the usual spoon-and-bowl routine.

In this case, that means bagel territory.

And frankly, if someone is handing out a free Artybaker bagel with SKYR schmear on Pearse Street, the least we can do is respect the situation.

When And Where?

The Yoplait SKYR x Artybaker pop-up takes place at:

34 Pearse Street

From:

Tuesday 19 May to Thursday 21 May

Between:

8am and 12pm each day

The free bagels are available during the pop-up, subject to availability.

Translation: move with purpose.

There are very few reasons to be smug before midday.

A free Artybaker bagel with Yoplait SKYR in the dough and SKYR schmear on top is probably one of them.

Catch the Yoplait SKYR x Artybaker pop-up at 34 Pearse Street from 19 to 21 May, between 8am and 12pm each day.

Set the alarm. Pretend you were always this organised.
