Here’s Where To Get Free Dinner From HelloFresh This Summer

After revealing Ireland’s favourite dinner as a Thai-inspired Chicken Curry, HelloFresh is bringing its food truck to Lahinch, Greystones and Wexford Quay this July.

Dinner often manages to become everyone’s primary concern at the most inconvenient times.

The day might be going perfectly well until that sudden, urgent question “what’s for dinner?” is posed with the quiet expectation of an instant result.

HelloFresh order data indicates that the top choice in Ireland is Thai-inspired Chicken Curry. This saucy, comforting dish has a gentle heat and delivers the kind of satisfaction that makes it feel as though the evening meal was truly well planned.

To mark the occasion, The Irish Summer Dinnertime Tour 2026 is hitting the road this July. Hosted by presenter and DJ Laura Fox, the HelloFresh food truck will visit Lahinch, Greystones, and Wexford Quay. They will be handing out free dinner between 3pm and 7pm at every stop.

It’s not often you get to say it: free dinner lads.

Tour Schedule & Locations

The HelloFresh Irish Summer Dinnertime Tour is making three very sensible summer stops. Coastal enough to feel like a day out, close enough that dinner being handed to you for free feels like something worth leaving the house for.

Here’s where it’s landing:

Lahinch, Co. Clare
Milltown Malbay Road
July 5th

Greystones, Co. Wicklow
Rise at the Cove
July 12th

Wexford Quay, Co. Wexford
Wexford Quay
July 26th

Free dinner will be served at each stop from 3pm to 7pm, with meals going out every 20 minutes, while stocks last.

This is a first come, first served situation, so maybe don’t wander down at 6.58pm with the confidence of someone who thinks a food truck has been personally waiting for them.

There’ll also be one vegetarian option available each hour, served at 40 minutes past the hour, which is very specific, very organised, and honestly more structure than most dinner plans get in this country.

So if the truck is rolling into your area, arriving early is probably the move.

Ireland’s Favourite Dinner, Apparently

For those curious about the nation’s kitchen habits, HelloFresh has disclosed the five most popular recipes based on internal ordering trends:

  1. Thai-inspired Chicken Curry
  2. Chicken Stroganoff
  3. Pesto and Bacon Pasta
  4. Creamy Bacon Linguine
  5. Cajun Chicken Pasta

The findings confirm that Ireland is firmly in its “comfort food” era, showing a strong preference for chicken based dishes and saucy pasta combinations.

Further data highlights include chicken as the leading protein choice, broccoli as the top vegetable, and pasta as the primary carb with broccoli tirelessly working to keep the nation’s plates somewhat balanced.
