Here’s How to Get a Poké Bowl for Just €5 This Week

Words: Hannah Lemass

Shaka Poké are doing Dubliners a very welcome favour this week by offering their poké bowls for just €5 on Just Eat and yes, it’s every bit as good as it sounds.

To mark their arrival on Just Eat, Shaka Poké are rolling out an unreal limited time offer on their poké bowls. From January 26th to February 1st, you can score a Shaka Poké bowl for just €5 when you order through the app. No codes, no sneaky terms, no hoops to jump through just a genuinely great deal on a wholesome, satisfying meal.

And the timing couldn’t be better. January has tested us all with its endless grey days, post-Christmas financial hangover, and the eternal wait for payday. While brighter evenings and hints of spring are almost within reach, we could definitely use one last boost to get us over the line. And that boost is coming in the form of a fresh, colourful bowl of poké. Basically spring in food form.

For the uninitiated, Shaka Poké specialise in Hawaiian-inspired poké bowls, a staple of Hawaiian cuisine. Each bowl starts with perfectly cooked rice and is piled high with marinated fish or plant-based proteins, crisp vegetables, fresh fruit and flavour-packed sauces. Think of it as a deconstructed sushi roll only heartier, more vibrant and incredibly satisfying. They strike that rare balance of being both nourishing and filling.

There’s truly something for everyone on the menu. The Classic Shaka is a fan favourite, topped with ahi tuna, wakame, edamame and pineapple ideal for poké purists. If you’re after a bit of heat, the Heatwave delivers a spicy kick. Veggie and vegan diners are well catered for too, with options like the Tahiti Tofu, featuring hoisin tofu, edamame, red cabbage, carrot and avocado. Meat eaters aren’t left out either, thanks to the Teriyaki Chicken, loaded with edamame, pineapple, Asian-style slaw and honey.

Plus, with a massive lineup of toppings and sauces to choose from meaning the possibilities for customisation are truly endless. Let your culinary creativity run wild. Think of your bowl as a blank canvas, with jalapeños, edamame, avocado and soy sauce as your palette.

It’s the kind of takeaway that ticks all the boxes: it tastes great, makes you feel good, and won’t destroy your bank balance. Exactly what’s needed to power through the final stretch of January.
