Here’s How to Get a Meal at Mad Egg for Less than Three Quid

Words: Maggie Fagan

Mad Egg are being hella sound by slashing prices for Just Eat orders in a courageous attempt to beat the Blue Monday blues.

Not only is it absolutely baltic out there, on top of Christmas having absolutely decimated bank accounts across the country and the fact that January is precisely sixty three calendar days long (payday feels like a distant memory at this stage), we need a win for January and we need it now.

To celebrate their new partnership with Just Eat, Mad Egg are running a five day 75% discount beginning on Blue Monday, the third Monday in January – a term coined by a psychologist in 2005 as the most depressing day of the year. While we make our own destiny, 75% off is too sweet to pass up…

The Good Eggs at Mad Egg are flogging their tenders plus two dips for the pocket change price of €2.95 from January 19th to the 23rd when you order through Just Eat. We love how serious they take their fried chicken by brining each piece for 48 hours before double dredging in spiked buttermilk and finishing them with a house-seasoned mix. Their beer has been specially brewed to pair with their chicken, so make sure you add some to the cart for the ultimate fried chicken takeaway experience.

They have a plethora of dips from buffalo to BBQ, honey butter to hot jalapeño, garlic mayo and ranch to name a few.

You heard it here first, people. Their tenders usually go for €11.95 making this a whopping 75% off. Everyone rejoice, lordt knows we need a little treat to get us through these trying times.
