El Milagro comes to Stoneybatter

By Shamim de Brún

El Milagro of Malahide infamy will be popping up in Stoneybatter with Love Supreme this weekend.

This Saturday and Sunday from 18.00 to 21.00 you will be able to get your grab and go tacos from Love Supreme on Manor street. The coffeeshop is a landmark on the streetscape of Stoneybatter and will host El Milagro a nomadic taqueria most commonly located at Malahide Marina.

Julian and Francisco Trejo Pascual are the brothers behind El Milagro. Their tacos have fame all their own. The handmade tortillas could turn a stubborn atheist into a true belieber. The place is already a runaway success in its own right with an established coterie of devoted regulars, despite only opening a couple of months.

There’ll be a handful of seats in the petite cafe that you have to book through Love Supreme’s socials. This morning there was still a fistful of spots left. The weekend menu will be made up of a curated list of their top hits. It’s two tacos for a tenner and you can mix and match at will.

This is El Milagro’s first foray into the pop-up scene. They are “just testing the waters” with this one and seeing how she goes. The hope is that if it goes well they will pop up all over the city. They have reached out to “loads of lovely cafés” and everyone so far has been “super friendly and helpful”

Love Supreme is a multi-roaster coffee shop that bring you local and internationally roasted coffee. It serves speciality coffee and more recently natural wines. Typically their menu is composed of humble pies and sausage rolls made in their in-house bakery.

To book for tonight slide into Love Supreme’s DMs on Twitter or Instagram.
