A Happy Ending for all
Happy Endings can’t stop with the popups, a couple of weeks on from finding a permanent home the team are launching another.
Maggi’s is a new lunchtime pop-up, selling bánh mì to grazers on Aston Quay. Originating in Vietnam, bánh mìs are a short baguette normally split lengthways and filled with savoury ingredients. Maggi’s menu is made up of Gai Yang chicken, slow-roasted pork, Szechwan aubergine, prawn cocktail bánh mì options served with either laughing cow cheese or liver pate, all the bánh mìs are available as a rice bowl or a salad bowl. There’s also sides of prawn crackers, fries, ginger and lime slaw or spice bag peanuts.
The new popup opened on June 16, and is operating out of Happy Endings new home in Dublin 2’s 14-18 Aston Quay “from 12 until we sell out”.
Beginning as a popup the Happy Endings wrapped up two locations in Dublin 1’s The Dorset Lounge and Blanchardstown’s Cafe Park, when they made their permanent move to Aston Quay on May 27.
Speaking of their forever home the team wrote, “you can expect an expanded evening menu featuring some of our favourite street food dishes, a brand new lunch menu, banging drinks offering and much much more (once we get open for outdoor / indoor dining)”.
The team have hit the ground running are already available for delivery from the location, expanding the delivery remit which was previously location restricted. “If you previously lived a little too far outside our delivery radius, time to check again,” the team wrote on Instagram.
