Chimac are finally selling their sauces by the bottle

By Emily Mullen

No more peasant portions

Chimac is known for a lot of things, their sesame daubed fried chicken skins, the cauli-wing flavour bombs, the ice cream sandwiches, but their sauces truly set them apart. It’s a difficult decision to pick between the Korean hot sauce, KBBQ, or the sriracha caramel pourover, while placing an order with the Aungier Street spot. While each sauce is delicious in its own special way, the food you pair it with will inform how your entire dining experience at Chimac will go, choose well (nugs and KBBQ) or choose impeccably well (wings and sriracha caramel).

Chimac has made this weighty decision a bit easier on us by making these sauces available for sale by the bottle. You can now order all three of them in a pack for €21 and get them delivered anywhere in Ireland.

The availability of its sauces, has lent Chimac to strike an unusual collaboration with Michael’s, who will be cooking up their ham using Chimac’s sriracha caramel sauce this weekend. The Mount Merrion restaurant are calling the union, “the greatest love story of our time”.

Click on the Chimac website to grab yourself a pack and also to view the recipes they’ve put together for them.
