Bison Bar & BBQ, known for its mastery of barbecue cuisine, will offer limited edition tasting plates showcasing their signature Bison dishes. From mouthwatering pulled pork and marinated BBQ halloumi to succulent brisket, attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in an array of tantalizing flavours. This year, the festival aims to surpass expectations with even grander offerings.

Headlining the event is renowned chef Adam Purnell, also known as Shropshire Lad. Purnell has gained recognition as a leading ‘live fire’ chef in the UK. everaging his YouTube channel to share his passion for BBQ. Over the years, he has built a remarkable career in the culinary world, notably winning Heston Blumenthal’s show ‘Crazy Delicious’ on Netflix and appearing as a critic on MasterChef the Professionals. Purnell will host a captivating live cooking demonstration, sharing his unique BBQ cooking techniques that prioritize the use of the finest ingredients and the collision of bold, natural flavours. This philosophy aligns perfectly with the culinary approach Bison Bar & BBQ has maintained since its establishment in 2012.

The festival has also curated an exceptional lineup of entertainment. Attendees will enjoy live music performances from acts like Dublin City Rounders and The Shadow Shakers at Bison Bar, while upstairs on The Workman’s terrace, talented up-and-coming DJs will set the party atmosphere. Additionally, whiskey enthusiasts can participate in tasting masterclasses and witness a live whiskey barrel charring demonstration presented by Jameson Black Barrel.

This year, the festival introduces exciting new additions to its diverse program. The Craic Den Comedy Club will host a series of mini-comedy shows, providing moments of laughter and entertainment. The festival will commence at 16:00 on Friday and 12:00 on Saturday, ensuring attendees have ample time to savor all the offerings. Admission is free, and walk-ins are welcome throughout the weekend.
