Anderson .Paak just invested his album money into a sushi restaurant

The news comes months after Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars dominated the US airwave charts with their co-written album, Silk Sonic
Far from falling into the typical trappings of musical fame, Anderson .Paak has invested the money he made from his latest album, Silk Sonic into the food business.
The rapper announced that he was opening a sushi restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California, with his business partner Christian Corben the founder of Taisho Hospitality.
“The boy done invested his #silksonic money,” Paak wrote, calling the food served in Taisho the “best sushi in town”.
“The foodies are calling it “BUSSIN!!“ he added, “tell them you know AP and they will charge you full price with no hesitation! God is the greatest!”
A poke around the Instagram account set up for the restaurant shows Taisho’s to be a pretty standard sushi restaurant, with little reference to its Grammy Award-winning owner. Its bio boasts, “New-Style Sashimi | Sushi | Sake | Cocktails | Vibes”.
Paak attributes this investment down to his involvement with the Silk Sonic album, which he co-wrote with Bruno Mars. The album made up of 70’s disco-inflected songs, had a song Leave the Door Open that topped the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
