Allta Announce New Home

In an Instagram post yesterday, Allta announced that they will open their ‘new home in the heart of Dublin docklands’.

While the official address has yet to be disclosed, the excitement of the public is palpable. In just twelve hours the post has garnered a huge amount of views, likes and comments of support.

Allta was originally a Dublin wine bar on Frederick Street. In 2019, they relocated to Slane Castle in Meath for a two-month sellout stint. The winter house in Trinity Car Park was thought to be a one-season space but proved so popular it has been extended to become Allta Summer House and ran until Christmas 2022.

Allta, ever the innovator, then launched a Substack where subscribers will get inside tips, recipes and how-to guides on some of the restaurant’s most iconic dishes. Niall Davidson is the head chef associated with Allta, who has, time and again, bucked tradition to create memorable experiences for Dublin’s culinary scene. Many have been waiting to see what Niall and his team do next for a while. This new development is welcome news to them.
