On the 19th and 20th of September, a street food festival is coming to our very own Talbot Street. There is nothing more we love on god’s green earth than a food festival. It’s like one big tapas party.
Discover Talbot Street, brought to you by Dublin City Council, will take over the street with a plethra of food, music, dancing, art, workshops, live performances, and the chance to ag labhairt a bit of Gaeilge with a pop-up Gaeltacht. Our plan is to eat our way from one end of the street to the other. Oh and maybe visit the tarot card stand.
It’s also an excuse to swing by and say goodbye to the iconic Guiney’s, who are soon to relocate to North Earl Street. Serious end of an era stuff.

Come hungry, because the food line up is hella exciting. We’re talking Brazilian Coxinha, Calzone pizza, Somali dishes, Caucasian cuisine, proper speciality coffee, to name but a few.

It’s free, it’s on from 12–5pm, and frankly, we can think of worse ways to spend a weekend. Grab your pals, bring your appetite and prepare to eat your way down Talbot Street.
