A new kind of grocers has just opened in Terenure village

The new spot is where Eddie Rockets used to be
The lockdown has taught us many things, one was an increased emphasis on local produce. The newly opened LaHoya Greens aims to provide the locals of Terenure with just that, to become a one-stop shop for local produce.
Describing itself as an Urban Food Store the shop stocks loads of fresh fruit and veg out the front, while inside is chock o block with cured meats, cheese, bread from Firehouse Wicklow, sauces alongside a zero-waste refill station. There’s also a healthy wine cellar inside, stocking a lot of organic, low intervention wines.
They are also running a partnership with Strive Nutrition, which is a new food delivery business run by chefs Megan Robinson and Andy Roche who make up healthy lunch bowls.
The store is the brainchild of businessman Stephen Slattery who runs Foam Coffeehouse in Terenure.
Speaking of the opening on July 27th, the team from LaHoya Greens wrote, “what a brilliant first day in Terenure. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome. Here until 8pm for any last minute shopping needs.”
The spot is in the centre of Terenure village, where Eddie Rockets once was, received a full redesign from Dublin-based interior designers northdesign.
