3 New Spots to Hit This Week

South Paw, Moss Lane, and El Milagro’s pop-up at Anti Social open their doors this week.

Firstly, South Paw opened in Temple Bar this weekend and is the latest venture from the team behind Coke Lane Pizza. Their new experience opened up on Crown Alley in the former home of Pie Shop at the centre of Temple Bar Square and will be open on Wednesdays to Sundays from 12:00 to 22:00.

South Paw’s menu will include their take on pizza portafoglio. Pizza Portafoglio or “wallet pizza” is classic Neapolitan street food. Just as New York has the dollar slice, Naples has pizza portafoglio. It is made by taking a classic Margherita or Marinara Neapolitan pizza and folding it up to make it portable. The dessert menu will also feature Cannolo.

Elsewhere, El Milagro has extended their residence at Antisocial and will be popping up again this weekend. El Milagro is a nomadic taqueria most commonly located at Malahide Marina. They pop up all over the country for typically one weekend at a time. However, after much success, their residence has been extended at Anti Social. So, this Saturday and Sunday from 17.00 to 22.00, you will be able to get tacos with your drinks on Francis Street.

Julian and Francisco Trejo Pascual are the brothers behind El Milagro. Their tacos have fame all their own. The handmade tortillas could turn a stubborn atheist into a true belieber. The place is already a runaway success in its own right with an established coterie of devoted regulars, despite only opening a couple of months.

Fineally, Moss Lane, a new whiskey forward bar, opened this weekend in Dublin 2. The pub is located at 37 Pearse Street, where O’Neill’s Townhouse used to be. They offer more than twenty luxury whiskies by the glass and have a well-trained staff who know how to help customers through the diverse menu.
