Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is back for summer, with Camile, Carved, Mad Egg, Griolladh, Shaka Poke and Chopped all in the mix from 11am to 3pm.
In a room you, your stomach and your bank balance are in intense negotiations trying to figure out what you are eating for lunch and if it will be whatever pitiful bits remain in the fridge.
During those heated debates you open Just Eat for a “quick look” telling yourself you will be sensible. The landscape of sensible shifts entirely when you discover Camile’s Dan Dan Noodles are for grabs for just a fiver!
Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is back for the summer baby and is running across July to September at participating restaurants from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday only.
Now the rotation is very fairly strong and there is a lot up for grabs: Carved for brisket, Camile Thai for Dan Dan Noodles or Crispy Chili Chicken, Mad Egg for burgers or tenders, Griolladh for toasties, Shaka Poke for bowls, Chopped for July’s Sweet Heat Salad. Did your mouth start drooling or was it mine?
Now let’s dive into these heavy hitters and find out exactly why they belong on your plate.

Carved is bringing an Irish Beef Brisket Sandwich to the €5 line-up, which is a very solid place to start.
This is one for anyone who needs lunch to feel like it has a bit of weight behind it. A brisket sandwich that is bursting with succcluent beef, fresh vegatables, caramelised onions and light helping of tangy mayo. If you are more in the mood for something with a bit of a kick their buffalo chicken comes with hot sauce, crisp lettuce, spicy slaw and garlic aioli. You will need one of these for when the first half of day has already beat you to submission and there are several hours left to survive.
While the aesthetics of this feed might not be the most polished, you can rest assured that this selection will leave you completely satisfied and ready to take on the world. The world being that email you were CC’d in.

Next up we have one of the strongest shouts in the line up. The Dan Dan Noodles are a dreamy headline, because a big portion of noodles in a flavourable tasty sauce for only €5 is a standout option for someone who needs a serious lunch and a vacation from “grab something small” territory as the container is packed to the brim with noodles.
The juicy Crispy Chili Chicken is another self explanatory lunch pitch and the name has done the work before the food even arrived at the table to soothe your lunch pangs. Big shout out to Camile Thai for giving us two options and it’s the perfect solution for you indecisive baddies.

The folks at Mad Egg are catering to both sides of the lunch spectrum with this offering. For those seeking a full scale production for their midday meal, there is the Goat Burger. It features a combination of lettuce, pickles, candied streaky bacon, garlic mayo and Parmesan cheese. They were not holding back at all making this burger.
For those of you who understand that sauce choice is not a minor detail there is the other option of Chicken tenders with two dips of your choice. It’s really important that we emphasise two sauces. Someone had the heart to consider that maybe only one dip can carry a person so far through the day. As the saying goes, hesitation is a mistake, particularly when it comes to Mad Egg’s lunch deals for a fiver.

Griolladh is bringing the classical and undefeated toastie section, and we concur because when has hot bread with the fillings you love ever let you down?
The Trademark Hambo Toastie Meal and Chicc’n & Stuffin’ Toastie Meal are both part of the €5 offer. That gives you two very different but equally valid routes into melted cheese lunch territory. Both leaning towards traditional fillings of shredded ham and the shredded chicken with stuffing.
The beauty of toasties in a promotion like this is their simple, low-effort appeal. Served hot and straightforward, they offer a welcome break, turning a midday meal into something that feels far more enjoyable than just another administrative task.
A warm toastie for a fiver is a simple pleasure. We are pro simple pleasures.

For those craving a fresh and vibrant lunch that doesn’t feel like a punishment exercise, Shaka Poke is what we believe will help lift up your spirts for lunch. Their €5 lunch promotion includes four unique bowl options, each offering a distinct variation on a similar theme. You can have the likes of the Classic which is a combination of ahi tuna, edamame, wakame, and pineapple salsa, all topped with Shaka sauce or the Heatwave a more intense option featuring ahi tuna, wakame, jalapeño, sweet corn salsa, cucumber, and spicy mayo.
Two other options up for grabs are Off The Wall and Ponzu Party. We’ll let you curious investigators track down the details of what they contain yourself, because where’s the fun in spoiling the surprise?
Whether you are after heat, crunch, fruit, or brightness, there is plenty of variety between the tuna and salmon options. While this is the lighter choice in the collection, it still avoids the “three leaves and a sad tomato” trap which is a very important distinction to make.
Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is available for a limited time only at participating restaurants, running from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday only.
Minimum spend and redemption restrictions may apply, and promotional items are subject to availability and may vary by restaurant, so do yourself a solid and visit just-eat.ie before promising the group chat a full lunch strategy.
Watch the time window and maybe stop pretending the thing at the back of the fridge was ever going to be enough.
