Word: Tobi Ilori

Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is back for summer, with Camile, Carved, Mad Egg, Griolladh, Shaka Poke and Chopped all in the mix from 11am to 3pm.

In a room you, your stomach and your bank balance are in intense negotiations trying to figure out what you are eating for lunch and if it will be whatever pitiful bits remain in the fridge.

During those heated debates you open Just Eat for a “quick look” telling yourself you will be sensible. The landscape of sensible shifts entirely when you discover Camile’s Dan Dan Noodles are for grabs for just a fiver!

Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is back for the summer baby and is running across July to September at participating restaurants from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday only.

Now the rotation is very fairly strong and there is a lot up for grabs: Carved for brisket, Camile Thai for Dan Dan Noodles or Crispy Chili Chicken, Mad Egg for burgers or tenders, Griolladh for toasties, Shaka Poke for bowls, Chopped for July’s Sweet Heat Salad. Did your mouth start drooling or was it mine?

Now let’s dive into these heavy hitters and find out exactly why they belong on your plate.

Camile Thai: Dan Dan Noodles Or Crispy Chili Chicken

Mad Egg: The Goat Burger Or Chicken Tenders With Two Dips

Griolladh : Hambo Or Chicc’n & Stuffin’ Toastie Meal

Shaka Poke : Classic, Heatwave, Off The Wall Or Ponzu Party Bowls

Just Eat’s €5 lunch campaign is available for a limited time only at participating restaurants, running from 11am to 3pm, Monday to Friday only.

Minimum spend and redemption restrictions may apply, and promotional items are subject to availability and may vary by restaurant, so do yourself a solid and visit just-eat.ie before promising the group chat a full lunch strategy.

Watch the time window and maybe stop pretending the thing at the back of the fridge was ever going to be enough.
