Things to eat in and around Dublin from August 29 until September 2.

We’ve collected some of the most delectable foods being sold in Dublin right now and compiled them into an extensive ol’ list. Here are five things in Dublin this week that we like the look of:

05

Brisket Sandwich – Riggers

Bisket was one of those things that was purely what people on TV ate. These days, however, brisket has been killing it on Irish soil because it is just a tough cut of beef cooked gently till tender. And Irish beef has always been next level. Their slow-cooked brisket is accented by aioli, rocket, caramelised onion chutney and Emmentaler on a soft but durable sourdough. So get in this week and get on it.

04

Baked Cod – Hen’s Teeth

You already know that hen’s teeth made good grub. But how could you look at this buttery baked cod and pass it by? You couldn’t, or more correctly, you shouldn’t. Browned shrimp, capers, lemon and gallons of butter make it a go-out-of-your-way-to-get-this dish of the week.

03

Breakfast Blueberry Slice – Strudel Bakery

Breakfast cake – as in an excuse to eat cake for breakfast. Sold. Hook line and sinker. This fresh as the coming autumnal air bad boy is full of blueberries and will pair all kinds of well with a good cup of tea or coffee. It looks like the perfect end-of-summer breakfast for the week that’s in it.

02

Puy Lentil Vegan Sausage Roll – Provender

Vegan sausage rolls are their genre. Always a flavour party and sometimes even better than the meaty versions. This is one of those times. Just look at this chonky bro. It’s daring you to come for it. Served with so-fresh-it’s-flawless tomato relish, this is a dish to pivot for this week.

01

Chipuffalo Tender – Tender Hooks

Sometimes all you want is chicken. There is nothing that hits the spot quite like it, especially when it comes with a flourish of spice. They have mixed chipotle and buffalo sauce to create a spice monstrosity that must be tasted. Just look at these boneless tendies. Don’t they call you? Definitely, a wave to catch this week.
