All Together Now partners with Bus Éireann to address traffic issues

Words: Ellen Kenny

All Together Now announced a series of improvements to create a more accessible festival.

After a two and a half year hiatus, All Together Now’s return is coming closer and closer. In the run up to July 29, the ATN team have implemented a number of plans to improve the journey to and from Waterford.

Bus Éireann have once again partnered with ATN. Regular buses will run from Waterford Bus Station to Curraghmore from July 29 to August 1.

Direct non-stop services from Dublin and Cork city will also operate to the festival on July 29 with return journeys on August 1. Single tickets are 20 euro and return tickets are 30 euro.

Other improvements in accessibility include an additional entrance to the grounds of Curraghmore Estate along with a brand new internal road.

Additional traffic marshals have been engaged to assist the free flow of traffic throughout the site. ATN will provide up-to-date travel news via their Festival App, Twitter account and local radio.

Early Entry Camping is also now available allowing general, pre-pitched, and boutique campers into the campsite from 16:00 on July 28 for those who want to set up camp early. Caravans and campervans can also access the site from 16:00 on July 29.

ATN also plans on creating a more sustainable festival and have hired Native Events for waste management and monitoring carbon emissions.

ATN announced their full festival line up yesterday. The line up features over 140 artists across three days, including Denise Chaila, CMAT, Malaki, Soda Blonde, and Khakikid.
