Aimsir has bulked up and extended its at-Home menu for Spring

By Emily Mullen

The two Michelin star restaurant has extended its at-home menu to eight-courses

Irish cuisine’s wunderkind has extended and bulked up their at-home offering. Extending their at-Home Spring menu to eight-courses, the restaurant has also increased production on the take-home boxes.

Ever the champion of Irish ingredients the team at Aimsir have created a menu that centers around seasonal ingredients. New dishes in the box, include a potato dish with chive emulsion and the ever-current bone marrow, plus Regan’s Farm chicken livers with beetroot crisp, pickled apple gel, and chickweed picked from the gardens at Celbridge’s Lyons estate. New desserts also crop up, with two-year-old miso and rhubarb, poached in its own juice and barrel-aged cherry balsamic, elderflower set custard, wild rose, and lemon balm meringue.

The boxes ain’t cheap clocking in at €210 for two people. They do include things that any foodie worth their salt would get very excited about though, like special tools to plate like a Michelin star chef, top-class drink pairings, detailed instruction cards, and access to in-depth video content from restaurant owners Jordan Bailey and Majken Bech Bailey.

The boxes are available each week, with collection each Friday from Lyons Estate, Celbridge, and with some limited deliveries available on Saturdays. Drivers not familiar with the location, it’s a little out of the way and you have to drive close to the barrier at the main gate in order for it to open.

Boxes are available in multiples of two so you can order for four or six diners too, but no specific allergies or dietary requirements are catered for. Visit Aimsir’s website for booking and more information.
