Landing as part of his debut album When The Smoke Rises, the Canadian poet’s track ‘The Hearse‘ is another considered effort.
The album features production from Frank Dukes and Jamie xx, meanwhile, Sampha, James Blake, and Rx make contributions on the debut.

Informed by her Yoruba heritage, ‘Aye’ is a sun-kissed pop anthem that conjures transitory moments with candid grace.
Teaming up with longtime collaborator, songwriter and producer Enda Gallery, the track’s nostalgia-tinged soul marks another winning collaboration from the pair.
Speaking on the track Tolü said, “Aye means life in Yoruba. A lot of what makes us who we are comes from our childhood. I want this song to celebrate life and the child we forget we were. We are who we are because of that child. I added my oriki which my grandmother blessed me with, she sings it in this song. Oriki is a Yoruba “attributive epithets” you’re given. Who you are called forth to be.”

Jazz maestro Auxiliary Phoenix delivered his album Petrichor today and with it came a gorgeous collaboration with former Shookrah singer Senita Appiakorang.

Evading any attempts to pigeonhole her sound, she’s opted for a more vulnerable jazz-indebted sound to deliver her emotive diary entry on the latest single.

Griselda came through on ‘Hood Blues’ a new cut from DMX’s posthumous album Exodus.
