Hen’s Teeth launch new tasting menu

Hen’s Teeth’s Feed Us is a “tasting menu for the people”.

The new tasting menu will feature an ever-changing selection of plates – Snacks, Smalls, Shares & Sweets – by chef Killian Walsh and the Hen’s Teeth crew. The full Feed Us menu comes in at fifty-five euros per person. In addition, a Feed Us veggie menu will also be available at forty-five euros per person. Each of these is substantially more affordable than the average Dublin tasting menu.

Feed Us is a set menu served in a tasting menu format with portions large enough to share family style. The dishes will change regularly, and like other tasting menus across the city, it will focus on local and seasonal ingredients.

The format is a new mesh of large family-style portions and multi-course tasting variety typical of high-end restaurants. It should work particularly well for bigger groups. Couples can also avail themselves of this new experience. Diners with specific dietary requirements are recommended to call ahead.

Though the menu is subject to regular change, the sample menus include favourites such as Padron peppers, Fumbally sourdough, and baby potatoes. There are also more unusual dishes peppering the samples, including fried octopus, buttered crumpets, and whipped brillat savarin.

Hen’s Teeth is a shop, gallery & café on Blackpitts in Dublin 8. Established in 2015, they work with local and international artists to create original artworks. The cafe uses locally roasted coffee and serves natural wine.
