There’s a brand spanking new Bottle Shop in Bray now

By Emily Mullen

A new bottler on the block

There’s a new off-license opened up on Bray Seafront, which is simply called the Bottle Shop. The shop is situated “right beside our friends” Catalyst coffee and Daata restaurant, according to its Instagram.

The swanky new bottler has been kitted out with neon signs, shiny cocktail taps and rustic wood. It stocks a large range of craft beers, from internationals like Bear Republic, Magic Rock, Sierra Nevada, plus beers from over the pond from Ska Brewing and Beavertown, alongside locals brewers Rascals, Wicklow Wolf, Trouble Brewing and Whiplash.

There’s also a healthy selection of vegan wines alongside some bottles that WineLab subscribers will recognise like Quite Mencia by Veronica Ortega, Scala Ciro Rosso and La foradada’s white. There are freshly made cocktails from WineLab, with pornstar martinis, strawberry daiquiris and spritz venezianos all available for takeaway in reusable bottles.

The team have launched a “Staff Pick”, in which a favourite product from the shelves is chosen and its merits discussed.

The Bottle Shop is situated on Strand Road, Bray and is open daily from 4pm, for updates see their Instagram.
