The Seafood Café  Suffers Third Break-In This Year

The Seafood Café, better known as Klaw Shack, has suffered their third break-in in just over four months. Owner Niall Sabongi expressed his dismay on Instagram, sharing images of the damage caused by the attempted robbery.

“Zero garda presence in the area! Impossible to have a Business and recover after a pandemic,” Sabongi said in his post. He highlights the dire situation faced by business owners in the Temple Bar area.

The Seafood Café

This is not the first time Klaw Shack has faced such challenges. There have been prior break-ins and attempted robberies. This is forcing the restaurant to look for a new space away from their current Crown Alley premises.

Despite these setbacks, Klaw Shack remains a beloved spot for seafood lovers. Their commitment to quality ingredients and exceptional service has garnered them a loyal fan base. The team at CHAR stand in solidarity with all small businesses struggling to survive in these unprecedented times and hope that the authorities take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of businesses in the Temple Bar area.

We urge our readers to support Klaw Shack in any way they can, whether it be through ordering takeaway or simply spreading the word about this beloved spot. We wish them all the best in their search for a new location and hope that they continue to serve delicious seafood for many years to come.
