London-based designer Hephee has created a design that captures the spirit of the Big Grill Festival in their signature fun style.
The Dublin-born illustrator (who works 9-5 as a graphic designer and art director)runs Hephee. Hephee is an Instagram account that churns out witty, topical and funny content on a daily basis. Part meme part illustration, with a swish of an iPad pencil, Hephee succeeds in perfectly describing life in Ireland.
The limited edition merch will be on sale for the duration of the festival or till it sells out.
And some rather big news – the festival currency ‘Smokins’ are officially no more. They have been banished to the burn pile. You can now festival your way through the Dublin 4 festival with just your debit card.
This year Square has partnered with the Big Grill Festival 2022. Powering the festival with their payment system will mean shorter queues and smooth and easy transactions. Square has customers covered from contactless, chip, PIN, and mobile payment. This means no more queuing for ‘Smokins’. Festival goers can just tap to enjoy all the delicious food and drink on offer.
The fires are well underway for The Big Grill BBQ & Food Festival in Herbert Park, Ballsbridge. Over the four days, more than 25,000 visitors are expected through the gates, running from Thursday 11 until Sunday 14. Some of the biggest names in barbecue and food from the USA, UK and Ireland will be on hand cooking over live fire, taking part in demos and chats, along with a great drinks and entertainment lineup.
