Here’s How to Get a Free Coffee in Dublin This Week

Oatly has teamed up with Dublin coffee Shops across Dublin to give away free oat milk coffees all week starting today, Monday, January 23.

Participating cafés include Network café on Aungier Stree,t and both Hatch locations, both Oxmantowns, Ground State, all the 3fe’s, every Bear Market branch, Creed Coffee, the Brother Hubbards of the world, Tang, It’s A Trap, and Unfiltered Coffee Co.

Every work day this week, the first hundred coffees made with oat milk will be free every day. According to Network Café’s Instagram post, you need to ‘whisper it’s like milk but made for humans’ to the barista, but I’m fairly certain you can say ‘, can I have a free Oatly latte’, and it will have the desired effect.

Oatly is a Swedish company that produces the OG oat milk; for many, it is the only one that is worth drinking. Especially in coffee. Their barista-quality oat milk is higher in protein than many others and gives the consistency of steamed dairy milk.

According to CarbonCloud Sverige AB, Oatly Oat Drink Semi has a seventy-five per cent lower climate footprint than Swedish semi-skimmed cow’s milk. Source:

Hatch announced their participation this morning via Instagram. Hatch is a coffee company that pours 3FE coffee and serves tasty treats every day by the sea in Glasthule and Blackrock village.

Network is relatively new in terms of this calibre of coffee shop. Its modus operandi is all about connecting coffee addicts with exceptional coffee quickly but without rushing it. It’s a hard line to straddle, but they do it well. Between Ollie, the owner and Jack, the head barista, they tag team to deliver what could be the best coffee on Aungier Street.
