Tom’s residency at Mamó is scheduled from January 12 to February 4, during which he will introduce a tantalizing seven-course tasting menu priced at €90 per person.

The announcement of Tom Foster’s takeover comes as Mamó’s staff prepares for a well-deserved holiday following the bustling Christmas period. Additionally, guests can opt for a wine pairing experience at an additional €60. Tom will assemble his own team to curate an enticing lineup of dishes, promising an unforgettable dining experience.

Mamó has long been a culinary gem in Howth, recognized for its iconic Cod Chip dish and innovative culinary approach. The restaurant’s commitment to quality, mastery of flavour, and cooking techniques, coupled with the personality embedded in its cuisine, has caught the attention of many, prompting speculation, from us, about a potential Michelin nod. With a ‘fuck it, let’s go for it’ attitude, Mamó has become a must-visit destination, requiring careful planning to secure a coveted reservation.

Tom Foster, a rising star in the culinary world, brings a wealth of experience to Mamó. His impressive career has seen him at the helm of renowned establishments, including London’s The Ledbury, as well as head chef roles at Bentley Restaurant & Bar and Cirrus Dining in Sydney. Notably, he was awarded the 2023 Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide’s Young Chef of the Year during his tenure as head chef at ELE By Federico And Karl.

While January may not traditionally be a month associated with dining out, Mamó and Tom Foster aim to change that narrative. The collaboration promises a unique blend of Australian flair with Irish charm, creating an unmissable culinary experience. Tickets for this limited-time gastronomic affair can be secured on Eventbrite, making it an ideal Christmas gift for the discerning foodie in your life.
