Top 5 things to eat in Dublin this weekend

We have collected some of the most delectable foods being sold in Dublin right now and compiled them into a big ol’ list. Here are five things in Dublin this weekend that we like the look of.

01

Astor Coffee – Vegan Sandwich

Stoneybatter’s new plant-based sambo is some guy. The lil chap is made up of steamed eggplant, green beans, pickled veggies, Lao Gan Ma scallions, and Coriander with Too Savage mayo on Bretzel Sourdough. It’s available as part of their new toastie menu all weekend.

02

Urbanity – Toffee Pudding French Toast

This toffee toasted pudding is sticky as. Made with soy & ginger, French toast, lime crème fraîche, crystallised stem ginger, cashew & white chocolate crumb bits its worth a drive by this weekend⁣. It’s a sweet as Toffo’s on Christmas morning brunch dish with an asian twist that looks as apetising as it sounds. Available all weekend from Urbanity in Smithfield Dublin 7.

03

Coconut and Moo Moo – Basque Burnt Cheesecake

Burnt basque cheesecake looks decadent. It’s lighter than New York-style cheesecake, with an airy texture more similar to soufflé. It tastes mildly caramelized, with a subtle flavor of brown sugar and crème brûlée. It looks golden and delicious.

Available in Killrudderry House market on Saturday and Mountain View on Sunday.

04

Bar 1661 – Loftus Lane

The Loftus Lane cocktail from Bar 1661 is visually stunning. This peaches and cream little number was created by bartender Alex Morrell for Dublin’s favourite poitin bar. Irish to the core as ever, they mix cream washed Dingle Vodka, Nectarine, Peach and Cream Soda with a sprig of lavender to garnish. This beautiful highball is accentuated by the hand carved pillar of ice that runs like a spine through this succulent cocktail.

05

PINK – South William Street

Oliver Dunne’s latest addition to the bustling Dublin food scene. These Cacio e Pepe Arancini with Black Truffle Aioli & Parmesan look like “I have to try that”. Crispy, well seasoned balls of cheesy goodness are the kind of thing weekends were made for. These live on the dinner menu at both Pink William Street and Malahide.
