Three Storey opens in Dublin 2

Three Storey, a project with three different concepts under one roof, opened its doors for a soft launch on Saturday.

Three Story is a Georgian building with four floors directly opposite St. Stephen’s Green and a hundred meters east of Grafton Street. It comprises a restaurant, a cafe that doubles as a spritz bar, and a cocktail bar.

The cafe turned Spritzeria Bar is open every day on the ground floor. Open in the evenings from five o’clock seven days a week the sapce can seat up to fifty people. When it opens fully, it will serve substantial meals for lunch, and their menu is made up of salads, sandwiches and some hot options. The kitchen pivots to serve snacks, light bites, and canapés designed to complement their spritz when the evening approaches.

The Restaurant will likely open at the end of the month, is on the basement level and can seat forty-five guests. Steered by head chef Richard Borne, formerly of Chapter One, the Restaurant will serve a curated Irish themed menu.

The cafe will focus on speciality coffee, aperitivi (bitter aperitivo liqueurs, aromatized wines) and spritzes. The team behind Three Storey aims to “embrace the idea of Italy’s aperitivo culture and the great Italian idea of enjoying one another”.

The second floor will be dedicated to a “cocktail laboratory”, equipped with the latest technology and gadgets to develop diverse flavours. However, this is a more behind-the-scenes operation and will be closed to the public.

The Cocktail Bar tops off the new spot overlooking St. Stephen’s Green. It has a living room open kitchen feel, with a fully customizable bar counter.
